It covers a distance of 20.3 km and will take place in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The organization is released from any liability for accidents, falls, illness, injuries, death, or damages of any kind during the event. Participants must follow this official route.<br data-start=\"4024\" data-end=\"4027\" \/>Shortcuts are not allowed, and all checkpoints must be passed. Assistance is only guaranteed on the official course.<br data-start=\"4143\" data-end=\"4146\" \/>Distances in natural environments are approximate.<\/p><p data-start=\"4200\" data-end=\"4336\">The finish line is at the summit of Isabel de Torres Mountain. Participants may return to the city by safari truck or private transport.<\/p><p data-start=\"4338\" data-end=\"4502\"><strong data-start=\"4338\" data-end=\"4378\">ART. 13 RACE DEVELOPMENT \/ PENALTIES<\/strong><br data-start=\"4378\" data-end=\"4381\" \/>Route information will be provided 30 minutes before the start.<br data-start=\"4444\" data-end=\"4447\" \/>Each checkpoint will offer water, fruit, and cookies.<\/p><p data-start=\"4504\" data-end=\"4540\">Participants may be penalized for:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4541\" data-end=\"4612\"><li data-section-id=\"1b0kik4\" data-start=\"4541\" data-end=\"4582\">Bib not visible or incorrectly placed<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1ichsad\" data-start=\"4583\" data-end=\"4612\">Littering during the race<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4614\" data-end=\"4724\">Penalties:<br data-start=\"4624\" data-end=\"4627\" \/>1st warning: 30-minute penalty<br data-start=\"4657\" data-end=\"4660\" \/>2nd warning: 45-minute penalty<br data-start=\"4690\" data-end=\"4693\" \/>3rd warning: disqualification<\/p><p data-start=\"4726\" data-end=\"4798\">Warnings may be issued by any official staff member of 100km del Caribe.<\/p><p data-start=\"4800\" data-end=\"5009\"><strong data-start=\"4800\" data-end=\"4822\">ART. 14 WITHDRAWAL<\/strong><br data-start=\"4822\" data-end=\"4825\" \/>In case of withdrawal, participants must immediately inform a staff member and hand in their bib.<br data-start=\"4922\" data-end=\"4925\" \/>They will remain under the organization\u2019s care until transported to the finish area.<\/p><p data-start=\"5011\" data-end=\"5086\"><strong data-start=\"5011\" data-end=\"5039\">ART. 15 DISQUALIFICATION<\/strong><br data-start=\"5039\" data-end=\"5042\" \/>Participants will be disqualified if they:<\/p><ul data-start=\"5087\" data-end=\"5358\"><li data-section-id=\"1k2qy2g\" data-start=\"5087\" data-end=\"5131\">Fail to pass the start or any checkpoint<\/li><li data-section-id=\"yydejg\" data-start=\"5132\" data-end=\"5166\">Use any form of transportation<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1lvbekk\" data-start=\"5167\" data-end=\"5211\">Receive unauthorized external assistance<\/li><li data-section-id=\"s2ka31\" data-start=\"5212\" data-end=\"5247\">Litter outside designated areas<\/li><li data-section-id=\"l58grd\" data-start=\"5248\" data-end=\"5290\">Refuse medical evaluation or decisions<\/li><li data-section-id=\"ma94a4\" data-start=\"5291\" data-end=\"5358\">Threaten or verbally abuse organizers or behave inappropriately<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"5360\" data-end=\"5492\">The organizing committee has final authority on disqualifications.<br data-start=\"5426\" data-end=\"5429\" \/>Disqualified participants will have their chip and
